5/20/2012 -- Tropical storm Alberto making partial landfall in G
Use the links here to monitor severe weather in your area: sincedutch.wordpress.com link to yesterdays video before they elevated this storm to a named tropical system: www.youtube.com Although the NWS hurricane statement says that the storm will stay off the coast of Georgia... it looks as though this storm may push a bit further southwest towards the Georgia Florida border. Already the hardest part of the storm is over land (SE Georgia).. Also, be alert in the midwest still.... Oklahoma has damaging winds and hail.... heading in the general direction of Arkansas, Southern Missouri, and even western Tennessee/Kentucky. Wisconsin to the north... as well as north Michigan... hail and damaging winds are detected... be alert this may extend throughout the rest of the day.
