May 23, 2017 The National Weather Service in Charleston issued a tornado warning for parts of Charleston and Colleton counties until 7:15 p.m.. At 6:47 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Edisto Beach, the Weather Service said.
